Yes. The free plan includes unlimited clients, unlimited projects, unlimited time entries, and 3 themes (Retro, Dashboard, macOS). Every new account also gets a 7-day Pro trial so you can explore all features.
No. You can sign up with just an email address or Google account. The 7-day Pro trial starts automatically — no payment information required.
After 7 days, your account switches to the free plan. You keep all your data and can still use unlimited clients, projects, and free themes. Pro features like advanced exports, tags, and premium themes become locked until you subscribe.
Yes. Every time entry has a rich text notes field where you can write as you work. Notes support bold, italic, strikethrough, and lists. They're saved with your time entry and can be exported later.
Themes change the entire look of your timer, log entries, and dashboard. Tympo offers 5 themes:

Pro users can export in three formats:
If you want to use AI (like ChatGPT or Claude) to organize, summarize, or process your work logs — for example, to format them for Obsidian or Notion — you might not want to share real client names. The anonymized export replaces client names with generic aliases while keeping everything else intact.
Time rounding lets you bill in clean increments. For example, if you set rounding to 15 minutes and work for 22 minutes, it can round up to 30 minutes. You can configure rounding per client and choose to round up, down, or to the nearest increment.
Yes. Tympo is a responsive web app that works on any device with a browser. On mobile, it adapts to a compact layout with bottom tab navigation. You can also add it to your home screen for an app-like experience.
Pro (€29/year or €3/month) adds:
Yes. You can cancel through Settings → Manage Subscription. You'll keep Pro features until the end of your billing period. No questions asked.

You can delete individual time entries, clients, and projects directly in the app. To delete your entire account and all data, email [email protected].
